GUNMEN ‘ASKED FOR A PARTICULAR INDIVIDUAL’ IN BATHLODGE SHOOTING – REPORTS

Preliminary investigations suggest the person who was the target of the gunmen in Monday night’s grisly triple shooting in Bathlodge was not at the house at the time of the incident.

Attorney General and Public Safety Minister, the Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin, says this is the information from investigators, who have so far detained two suspects and are hunting a third.

A 20-year-old pregnant woman was shot dead, while a 13-year-old boy and 24-year-old man were injured.

Sir Steadroy spoke exclusively with ABS News Tuesday afternoon, reaffirming the government’s zero-tolerance approach to these gun crimes.
