HAWKSBILL HOTEL WILL NO LONGER BE A QUARANTINE FACILITY

The government’s quarantine facility at Hawksbill will soon no longer be an option for returning nationals.
The confirmation came from Minister of Information the Hon. Melford Nicholas while addressing reporters during Thursday’s Post-Cabinet Media Briefing.

Minister Nicholas says discussions are underway regarding the new location for the government’s quarantine facility once Hawksbill Hotel has been surrendered to the owners.
Health Minister the Hon. Molwyn Joseph has indicated the old U.S. Naval Base is a possible location.

The government spends an estimated U.S. 1-hundred and thirty dollars daily per national under government quarantine.
