INDUSTRIAL COURT CELEBRATES 50TH ANNIVERSARY

The Industrial Court is being called upon to keep in step with the rapidly-changing world of work, being driven technological advancements such as Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Attorney General and Legal Affairs Minister, Hon. Sir Steadroy Benjamin, raised the issue as he spoke during a special sitting on Wednesday to celebrate the court’s 50th anniversary.

Over the past five decades, the court has decided numerous cases, some of which have been reinforced by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
