The government is moving to strengthen health surveillance at Antigua and Barbuda’s ports of entry amid growing international concerns over infectious diseases, including Ebola, hantavirus and malaria.

Cabinet says enhanced screening and monitoring measures are expected to begin by this weekend, as authorities seek to keep the nation safe.
