Director-general for communications in the Prime Minister’s Office, Maurice Merchant, says one of two new abattoirs has already arrived in Antigua and Barbuda and preparations are now underway for its assembly and eventual operation.
Cabinet has also committed funding to upgrade the new school of agriculture at the former Glanvilles Secondary School, ahead of a full rollout of programmes in September.
