JAMAICA CLAIMS GOLD AND SILVER IN WOMEN’S 200M, USA SWEEPS MEN’S 200M

Jamaica’s Shericka Jackson is now the fastest woman alive over 200 meters after running a sublime 21.45 seconds for the gold medal at the World Championships in Eugene, Oregon on Thursday.
Her compatriot and 100m champion, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce copped silver in 21.81 seconds with bronze going to Great Britain’s Dina Asher Smith in 22.02 seconds.
