“LET THE CONVICTION OF MY HALF-BROTHER BE A WARNING TO ALL” – PRIME MINISTER ISSUES WARNING TO SEXUAL PREDATORS“

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says the recent conviction of his half-brother for a sex crime should be a warning to all as government vows an intensified crackdown on sexual predators.

He posted on his personal Facebook page on Thursday that his administration is, “determined to bring all rapists, including the busmen who have been violating our young girls to justice.”

The Prime Minister’s half-brother, 43 year old Adisson Browne was convicted of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor earlier this week.

Justice Ann Marie Smith presided over the case in the High Court.

Sentencing has been deferred until July 15, pending a social inquiry report.

There has been mounting concern over cases of sexual predation, including on minors.

Cabinet discussed the matter at its meeting this week, after it received information that several drivers have been preying on vulnerable youth.
