MAN ON TRIAL FOR THE MURDER OF HIS UNCLE
The murder trial has begun for Kelly Friday, who is accused of killing his uncle, Selwyn Mannix, in September 2021.
Friday is accused of stabbing Mannix several times during an altercation at point wharf.
Friday is also said to have sustained injuries during the incident, and was pictured with bandages to one of his arms, in the days following the incident.
He has already pleaded not guilty to the murder charge.
