MORE HOMES HANDED OVER IN BARBUDA

Prime Minister Gaston Browne and European Commission Vice President Frans Timmermans handed over keys to homeowners in Barbuda this morning.
The event took place at Abundant Life Ministries.
This comes as part of the rebuilding effort on the sister isle which was devastated by Hurricane Irma over 4 years ago.
Eleven people are to receive homes during this phase however, only 9 were present at the ceremony.
Twenty homes were already rebuilt as a part of the European Union- funded project last year.
Eighty- four homes in total are to be rebuilt under the scheme.
The United Nations Development Programme is executing the initiative.
