NPA EXTOLS CONTRIBUTION OF AFRICANS IN DEVELOPMENT OF ENGLISH HARBOUR

The National Parks Authority has remembered and celebrated nine African soldiers who served in the West India Regiments of over two centuries ago.
The ceremony took place on Sunday at Middle Ground at the recently discovered burial site of the men.
It forms part of the efforts by the Parks Authority to trace the contribution of African labourers in the development of English Harbour over the centuries.
