PLACEMENTS ARE FINAL

The Grade 6 National Assessment secondary school placements are final for the majority of students.
That’s according the Director of Education, Clare Browne.

But for the students who don’t make the top 100, what is their criteria for placement?

He says the ministry will only make arrangements for transfers in situations where there are errors in the placement or if there are serious health or safety issues involved in the placement.
Director Browne shares the policy on transfers.

He tells ABS, all applications must be addressed to the Director of Education.
