POLICE REPORT SLIGHT INCREASE IN CRIMES IN 2021

Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney reported a slight increase in overall reported crimes in 2021 compared to 2020.

The police commissioner revealed the crime statistics at the Police Force’s end-of-year news conference on Friday.

Commissioner Rodney said acquisition crimes dominated the reports and also noted a sharp increase in homicides in 2021 compared with the previous year.
