PRIME MINISTER BROWNE LAUDED AT CARICOM MEETING FOR EFFORT TO SAVE LIAT

St Lucia’s Prime Minister, Phillip J Pierre has applauded Antigua and Barbuda’s Prime Minister Gaston Browne for his efforts to save regional airline LIAT from piecemeal liquidation.
Prime Minister Pierre made the comments as he addressed the opening ceremony of the 43rd Regular Meeting of Caricom Heads of Government in Suriname.
Prime Minister Pierre insists Caricom needs LIAT.
