PRIME MINISTER BROWNE TOUTS MAJOR SOCIO-ECONOMIC ACHIEVEMENTS
Members of the country’s longest-serving trade union, the Antigua Trades and Labour Union, gathered at the VC Bird Bust this morning to hear from prominent members of the organization.
Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne was in attendance and used the opportunity to reflect on the achievements of his Labour Party government, among them, expanding the hotel sector.
He noted the country’s room stock is expanding for everyone to see.
As members of the audience cheered him on, Prime Minister Browne outlined the progress the government has been making across sectors.
He hailed the opening of the fourth landed campus later this year and beamed about the advancements in the area of health.
While urging workers to increase their productivity, Prime Minister Browne assured them the government will not waver from its commitment to improve their lives.
Prime Minister Browne also says the development goals for Barbuda have not diminished.
