Sandals Grande Antigua Reaches out to Basketball Players

Sandals Grande Antigua through its philanthropic arm, the Sandals Foundation, is collaborating on a local charitable effort providing mentorship for young basketball players across the island.

Former National Female Player, Jasmine Underwood- Joseph along with her husband have developed the Rockerville Grays Green Community Mentorship Program, which seeks to engage the youth in positive activities.

She gives kudos to the Sandals Foundation for its support to the venture.

Sandals Grande Antigua Public Relations Manager, Tasheka LaVann, says the foundation, which was founded in 2009 by Chief Executive Officer, Adam Stewart, is always pleased to partner on this community based venture.

The program will begin on April 9 and will feature training sessions on Diet and Exercise, Peer Pressure, Time Management and Basketball Fundamentals.
