The Ministry of Education has decided to open the Sir McChesney George Secondary School over on Barbuda from Monday.
Director of Education Clare Browne says the decision comes after a thorough assessment in consultation with officials from the National Office of Disaster Services.
During the assessment, it was found that some eighty students are on the sister isle who have not been able to continue their schooling. Classes for both primary and secondary students will be held at the school.
