SECOND MAN DIES FROM COVID 19

Meanwhile, the country recorded its second Covid 19-related death late yesterday.
A 73 year old man died in the Intensive Care Unit of the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre.
Medical Director at the hospital, Dr. Albert Duncan provided the update during our late night newscast on Tuesday.

The man was one of four people with COVID-19 on ventilators in the ICU. According to Dr. Duncan he was suffering from other health conditions, including hypertension and diabetes.

His death follows that of the first patient, a 46 year old man who died on Saturday.
Samples were taken from the man before he died and the results were received by health officials on Tuesday confirming he had been infected with COVID-19.
