SHOULD UNDER-16S BE BANNED FROM ACCESSING SOCIAL MEDIA? – CARICOM WEIGHS ISSUE

Antigua and Barbuda and other Caricom states are considering legislation that would restrict social media use by children under the age of 16.

The Antiguan and Barbudan government has begun preliminary discussions on the issue and is also monitoring the outcomes in other countries which have so far implemented this ban.

Members of the public are also sharing their views with ABS News about whether they would support such restrictions.
