SIR RONALD ON HAITI’S IMPORTANCE TO THE ANTI- SLAVERY MOVEMENT

The celebration of Emancipation Day provides an opportunity for a sobering reflection on the triumphs and travails of Haiti and how this affected the entire region.
That message was delivered virtually during the Emancipation watchnight event last night by Antigua and Barbuda’s Ambassador to the United States and senior fellow at the Institute of Commonwealth Studies, Sir Ronald Sanders.
