SMOKING INCREASES RISK OF SEVERE COVID-19

The World Health Organization has released startling statistics which indicate smokers face a 40%-50% higher risk of contracting severe disease and death from Covid-19.

This comes just in time for World No Tobacco Day commemorated on May 31 each year.

Certified Addiction Specialist Dr. Jerry Simon agrees.  He encourages smokers to quit due to this increased risk and the residual health, economic, and social effects of the addiction.
