Sparrow “Conscious and Responsive”

Regional Calypso Legend Slinger “The Mighty Sparrow” Francisco is now conscious and responsive, according to a press statement from his family.

The statement informed fans and the population at large that Sparrow is being monitored and the family is hopeful that he will continue to progress further.

The family also expressed profound appreciation to everyone for the prayers and outpouring of well wishes.

Meanwhile, the Calypso King’s son, Anthony Francisco recently told the Express that the constant calls from people saying they heard Sparrow had died and all the postings on social media is upsetting the family who just wants to focus on prayers and positive energies towards his father recovering.

Sparrow has been in a hospital in Queen’s, New York for the past two weeks.

The family says it will issue further updates as it becomes necessary.
