TEACHERS TRAINED IN DNA BAR-CODING IN MAJOR STEM INITIATIVE

Over 20 of the nation’s educators representing 11 secondary schools have benefitted from a professional development workshop in DNA bar-coding.
It is another move aimed at ensuring the country is at the cutting-edge in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).
It was held at the American University of Antigua in a collaboration among the Antigua and Barbuda DNA Bar-Coding Educational Project, AUA and the Ministry of Education and Sport.
