US PIVOTS TO CLOSER PARTNERSHIP WITH HEMISPHERIC PARTNERS

Antigua and Barbuda and other countries of the Americas are set to benefit from new partnerships on economic prosperity and climate change with the United States.
The arrangements were announced on Wednesday by US President Joe Biden as he addressed the 9th Summit of the Americas in California in the US.
The pact is a pivot to hemispheric partners in the wake of what had been seen as Washington’s waning geopolitical influence in the region.
