WARREN CASSELL FOUND GUILTY

Prominent Attorney-at-Law Warren Cassell has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison in Montserrat after being found guilty by a 9-member jury Wednesday.

A panel of seven women and two men presented the guilty verdict in the High Court to His Lordship Justice Stanley John.

Cassell was charged with one count of concealing the proceeds of criminal conduct contrary to section 33(1) (a) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 1999, Caption 4.04.

Acting on the Prosecution side was Richard Jory QC,Henry Gordon, and DPP Oris Sullivan.

Cassell, who represented himself, will be sentenced at 9.am on Thursday June 23rd.
