WATER IN POTWORKS DAM NOT YET AT EXTRACTION LEVELS – APUA

The recent heavy rainfall resulted in a sight not seen for several months – water in amongst the shrubs at Potworks Dam.
The Antigua Public Utilities Authority says it’s not quite at the level yet to allow for extraction and production at the Delapps Treatment Plant.
However, the utility is waiting to see whether it will reach these levels as more water runs off into Potworks from surrounding areas over the next few days.
They will therefore know by later this week whether there is enough water to augment what is being supplied from reverse osmosis plants.
