The Home of a South Street family was attacked by a man with a flare gun, leaving a 15 year old male nursing injuries.
It happened 6:30 this morning.
A member of the family told ABS News, as they were preparing the children for school, they noticed something red come through the window. It hit the 15-year-old on the leg and fell to the floor.
No other family member was hurt in the incident, but left others running for cover.
The family member said there is a belief this incident could be the result of an ongoing feud, following a fight last month at the East Bus station.
A neighbor, shaken up by the incident, believes the attacker fired the flare gun from the burnt-out shell of a house next to the family’s home.

She wants the burnt-out shell of a house to be demolished.
