Promotions based on merit

Major changes are coming to the way promotions are handed out in the Police Force.
Public Safety Minister Steadroy Benjamin says gone will be the days that officers will be promoted based on their years of experience.
He says they will have to be earned by merit.

Minister Benjamin says officers will soon be subjected to ongoing assessments to determine their readiness to climb the ranks.
