LOCALISED TESTING FOR COVID-19 TO BEGIN NEXT WEEK

Localised testing for COVID-19 will begin next week.
That’s according to Information Minister Honourable Melford Nicholas as he chaired the Cabinet Press Briefing Wednesday evening.
ABS’s Cherilyn Beazer reports, the delay in testing was due to the kits being held up.

Meanwhile, our news centre obtained these pictures late this afternoon of the laboratory training which commenced this morning at the Mount St John’s Medical Centre.
It is being performed using virtual means.
This is a crucial step in paving the way for domestic testing for COVID-19.
