EDUCATION MINISTER SAYS INFORMATION ABOUT EXAM CANCELLATION IS FALSE

Education Minister Hon. Michael Browne say information being circulated regarding the cancellation of national assessment for grades two, four and six is false.

The Education Minister says communication from the ministry is sent directly to formal mediums such as media houses, ministry of education portals and at times on his social media platforms.

Minister Browne says official documents from his ministry have had a particular format.

He says he’s aware people are anxious and eager for the information but urges everyone to wait until consultation is finalized.

He adds that all avenues and possibilities must be examined.
