NEW PRISON BLOCK TO BE COMPLETED IN 3 MONTHS

Major improvements are on the horizon for Her Majesty’s Prison.

That’s according to Works Minister, the Hon. Lennox Weston who says several new cells will be constructed over the next three months.

He says the workers now have permission to re-enter the prison to complete the project.

The government is using a containerized solution, which the Minister says is 95% less expensive than creating a concrete structure of similar capacity.
