REFURBISHING WORK CONTINUES ON KEELING POINT

Work to refurbish the Keeling Point Pier in St John’s is continuing apace.
Fisherfolk who use the facility can expect an improved pier both structurally and aesthetically.
Minister responsible for Fisheries the Hon. Samantha Marshall and Parliamentary representative for the area the Hon. Londell Benjamin visited the men at work on the facility.

Minister Marshall says fisherfolk will be pleased with the upgrades being planned for the area in the short and long term.

The work, which is set for completion within days, is being carried out by Meridian Construction, the same entity which is completing the fifth cruise pier in St John’s.
