The government continues to set its sights on attracting a new call centre operation to Antigua which is set to create scores of jobs.
Information Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas provided that update during Thursday’s post cabinet media briefing.
The company in question cites the availability of broadband services, the Digital Nomad Program, and the safety and security of the country as major pull factors.
The government sees this as one of the ways to increase employment prospects and diversify the economy to recover from the ravages of the COVID-19 pandemic.
