The economic dislocation from the COVID-19 pandemic has been significant, but this evening, there is data showing green shoots have emerged in the area of entrepreneurship.
It’s a major developing story this evening as ABS can reveal exclusively the number of new businesses registered so far this year.
The data was provided by the Inland Revenue Department, showing a resurgence this year following the declines in registration in 2020.
