INFORATION MINISTER PROVIDES UPDATE ON SPUTNIK V

Approval for use of the Sputnik V vaccine in Antigua and Barbuda is imminent.
Cabinet received the update at its meeting on Wednesday.

The Antigua and Barbuda Pharmacy Council had indicated late last month it was awaiting more information, including the inner leaflet to be made available in English, before completing its due diligence on the vaccine.
These documents it has requested are in in addition to its review of the data by the renowned medical journal ‘The Lancet.’
