SPECIAL CURFEW HOURS FOR APPROVED EVENTS

Cabinet has decided to allow approved events to go on until 2:30 a.m. with the requirement that patrons reach their homes by 3:00 a.m. 

Attendees are to have arm bands and ticket stubs to prove they were at an approved event if they are approached by police. 

However, regular curfew hours remain from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. daily, as the government plans to extend the State of Emergency for another 90 days or until September 30, 2021. 

Parliament will meet next Tuesday to propose to extend the State of Emergency which is currently set to end on June 28th, 2021.
