UPDATE PROVIDED ON SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

Antigua and Barbuda has several teachers who’ve specialized in teaching children with special needs.
However, the challenge is they have been stuck in the traditional school setting.
This is the update from Education Officer with responsibility for Special Education Joy-Ann Harrigan.

Harrigan says another issue relates to the availability of student devices in Special Needs schools.

She is heartened however that special education schools have had the support of many kind corporate citizens.
