MEHUL CHOKSI BACK N ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA

Mehul Choksi is back at his home in Antigua and Barbuda after a consent order was approved by Dominica’s High Court. He was pushed in a wheelchair from the VC Bird International Airport Wednesday afternoon. He has been allowed to return to Antigua for specialist medical treatment, before returning to Dominica for ongoing court hearings when he is well enough to travel.
Choksi, who is citizen of Antigua and Barbuda through the Citizenship by Investment Programme, claims he was kidnapped and taken to Dominica; however, Dominican authorities have charged him with Illegal Entry. Indian authorities have sought his extradition on charges he defrauded the Punjab National Bank.
