Meanwhile, the Public Safety Minister is standing firmly behind police officers defending themselves when attacked on the job.

This comes after Police allege officers were shot at during a recent attempted robbery at Golden Grove Service Station.
Shadesha Phillip was shot in the leg when officers reportedly fired back.
Phillip’s lawyer has since claimed she was shot while in Police custody.
