DISTRIBUTOR ASSURES RECALLED CAPRI SUN DRINKS NOT ON LOCAL SHELVES

Local distributor Anjo Wholesale says the drinks recalled by US-based company Kraft Heinz are not on shelves in Antigua and Barbuda.
Anjo Wholesale is advising customers its Capri Sun brand is manufactured by its business partner Grace Kennedy and is not affected by the product recall.
Meanwhile, Grace Kennedy Foods is assuring there’s no risk of a serious health issue as the Capri Sun recall is only happening in the United States.
Grace says its Capri Sun is distributed in Jamaica through its World Brand Service (WBS) division and in the Caribbean through its subsidiary Grace Foods Latin America and the Caribbean.
Capri Sun products distributed through these entities are manufactured in Jamaica by GK Foods and are not impacted by the US recall.
