NODS URGES RESIDENTS TO PREPARE AS HURRICANE SEASON BEGINS SATURDAY

The National Office of Disaster Services is urging residents to be prepared as what is forecast to be hyper-active Atlantic Hurricane season begins on June 1.
NODS Director Sherrod James, says on a national level, the agency is ready to steer the country through any potential storms, but insists residents must also ensure they too are ready.
