HAYLEY MATTHEWS SALUTES WINDIES WOMEN ON SEMI FINAL BERTH

Captain of West Indies Women, Hayley Matthews has heaped praise on opener Qiana Joseph for her performance which was instrumental in the team advancing to the semi-finals of the Women’s T20 World Cup.

Matthews and Joseph both hit half centuries in an opening partnership of 102 runs in their clinical 6-wicket win over England.

Matthews says many people wrote off the team, but she is proud of the way they have proven their doubters wrong.
