LIAT 2020 LANDS MAJOR DEAL FOR CHARTER FLIGHTS TO COLOMBIA

LIAT 2020 has entered a major partnership which will result in charter flights between Antigua and Barbuda and Colombia in South America.

The flights are set to begin in September this year, as part of a historic agreement between the Antigua-based carrier and BlueSea.

Tourism Minister, Hon. Charles Fernandez, has welcomed the deal as another seminal milestone for LIAT, which returned to the skies last August after being saved from liquidation by the Gaston Browne administration.

Details of the arrangement were outlined during a news conference Tuesday afternoon.
