ID Card To Be Distributed Alphabetically Reminds ABEC

Ahead of the distribution of voter identification cards, the Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) is reminding the populace that cards will be handed out alphabetically.

Distribution begins on Wednesday, and while ABEC agrees that it will not turn anyone away if they put in an appearance on the day they are not required to, Public Relations Officer Anne Harewood-George says accommodation does not mean open invitation.

Weekends so far are not included in the distribution, but the PRO says a determination will be made following the first three days of the process.

Harewood-george is reminding voters of the importance of presenting their registration receipts.
