AGRICULTURE MINISTER BULLISH ON INITIATIVES TO BOOST FOOD SECURITY

Distribution of free fertilizer to farmers, more dams for irrigation and greater access to heavy-duty equipment are among a slew of initiatives from the Agriculture Ministry to boost food security, cut the import bill, and revitalize the sector.
Agriculture Minister Hon. Anthony Smith Jr provided a progress report on this week’s Government in Motion from the Government Information Service.
