PM BROWNE WILLING TO SACRIFICE CAMPAIGN DONATIONS TO DEFEND GOOD GOVERNANCE

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne says his administration is determined to stop what he calls pilfering of public revenue by some business operators.

He told fellow lawmakers in Parliament’s Lower House on Thursday that his administration is intensifying its focus on government agencies and departments, as part of this muscular approach to tackling malfeasance.

The prime minister says while corruption and sweetheart deals have lingered for years, his government is drawing a hard line, even if it means losing political funding in the process.
