POLICE SEARCH FOR DRIVER FOLLOWING VIDEO OF BRAZEN ILLEGAL DUMPING

Police are now probing another case of illegal dumping along Parham back road on Wednesday, after the daring daylight infraction was caught on video.

ABS News has received cellphone footage showing a truck offloading what appears to be topsoil and other materials along the roadside.

The vehicle’s licence plate, C17157, was clearly visible in the video.

Minister for Social and Urban Transformation and Member of Parliament for the area, Hon. Rawdon Turner, continues to deplore the practice.

The minister says the police have been informed and vowed that action will be taken.
