APUA TO GET NEW EQUIPMENT FOR PROPER REPAIRS OF ROADS IT DIGS UP

The Antigua Public Utilities Authority says it will be doing a better job of repairing the roads it excavates to fix broken mains.

Utilities Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas says the APUA will be securing new equipment next year to ensure this happens in the first half of 2026.

He used his contribution to the budget debate in Parliament’s Lower House on Wednesday to announce an initiative to address an issue which has been the bane of the Works Ministry.
