APUA TO HAVE ITS OWN ROAD REPAIR TEAM BEFORE JUNE – MINISTER NICHOLAS

Utilities Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas has assured that the Antigua Public Utilities Authority will have its own public works team before June this year to properly rehabilitate roads that are excavated for piping works.

The issue has long been a bane for the Ministry of Works, but Minister Nicholas says effort and capital will be expended to properly equip an APUA team to carry out adequate repairs.

He made the announcement during the opening ceremony for the country’s newest reverse osmosis plant at Barnacle Point on Friday.
