AG REPORTS PROGRESS TOWARD LAW DEGREE PROGRAMME AT UWI FIC
Antigua and Barbuda is moving ahead on plans to bring a full law degree programme closer to home.
Officials say talks are in advanced stages for the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus to start delivering the LLB programme locally, with support from the Jamaica-based UWI Mona Campus.
Attorney General Sir Steadroy Benjamin says the move is about better access for Antiguans and Barbudans and students across the OECS, while maintaining high standards.
