Congratulatory Words Expressed To PM Browne
Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne and the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), have received congratulatory words and letters from opposition leaders and prime ministers across the region.
In speaking to regional media, Head of the Dominica Labour Party (DLP) Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit pledged to continue working with Browne, whom he regards as a “comrade.”
Skerrit posited that it was the economy that was the United Progressive Party’s (UPP) downfall.
Leader of the Team Unity, the opposition coalition in St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Timothy Harris says he spoke with Browne via telephone early Friday morning about the outcome of the elections.
In a subsequent letter, Dr Harris referred to PM Browne as passionate and committed to building the nation and Caribbean region.
